How it Works - Six Easy Steps
Step One
Meet Your Home Designer
Book an online zoom or phone call with Lisa and the team via the 'get in touch page' We'll discuss your project requirements, your preferred design style, and your likes and dislikes. We'll outline time frames, budgets and your project goals.
Step Two
Send Photos and Measurements
Please send a few photographs or videos to get a feel for your space. We'll also need some measurements from you to ensure the furniture we recommend will fit perfectly. If you don't have a proper floor plan available, don't worry. Follow my 'how to measure guide' on my website as a hand-drawn plan is perfectly sufficient.
Step Three
Approve Your Concept
Then we'll get to work and create a 'design concept' for you that outlines the 'look and feel of the interior design style for your project and the key features for the room/s. At this stage, you can tell me if we're heading in the right direction. Once you're happy, we'll start designing.
Step Four
Review Your Layout
Next up, having converted your room/home measurements onto our architectural software, we'll draw up a suggested layout for you. Your floor plan is to scale, showing you the ideal sized items you can fit and where. We can then refine the layout, so your final presentation is perfect.
Step Five
View your Interior Decoration Plan
Your personalised design plan is complete! Everything you need to create your ideal space is prepared in an easy-to-use design document, ready for you to approve, including mood boards, colour palettes, personalised shopping lists with clickable links.
Step Five (optional service)
Spend and Save
Ordering of products can be arranged on your behalf, enabling you to access trade discounts, where available, as part of your package. For many, the trade discounts will subsidise our consulting fee's! Offering a personalised service at minimal or no cost.
Step Six
Putting the Space Together
Install furniture, homewares and lighting as per the prescribed design document, and Ta-Da!! You have your beautifully designed space.
